A Study on Satisfaction Levels among Hearing Aid Users in Gangetic Plains

Introduction Outcome assessments have emerged as an effective method for determining whether or not hearing aids are working to achieve positive results in rehabilitating the impaired. Present study aims assess satisfaction level of clientele using aids. Material and Methods One hundred fourteen (114) handicapped patients, fitted with government-provided at various clinics spread over Gangetic plains were included this prospective observational outcome analysis. Follow up was done 2 weeks 45 days when they further motivated continue aid, comfortable fitting mould ensured along minor trouble shooting. Four half months later, their assessed by analysing response Clientele Satisfaction Questionnaire. Results Fifty percent patients family members try aid whereas 50% self motivated. Better communication immediate social circle common motive. Majority (85%) reported high terms benefit. Patients severe degree loss more satisfied used longer duration a day. Handling much problem tolerating noise produced itself. Cost battery concern 80% our clientele. Conclusion Proper improved quality life majority overcoming psychosocial problems.
